Tasmanian unions represent around 50,000 union members across the state. We seek to promote a just and fair society by collectively seeking better wages and working conditions, promoting job security and improving work life balance. We work with our members and the wider community to improve the living standards of all Tasmanians.
This important work relies on the skills, dedication and passion of hundreds of union delegates, councillors, shop stewards and activists who volunteer their own time to further the work of their union. They should be recognised.
The Tasmanian Union Awards recognise the special efforts of just a few of these people.
